Recently the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine issued a report called “Preventing Cognitive Decline and Dementia: A Way Forward.”
The authors reviewed thirteen different kinds of interventions thought to have an effect on cognitive function, Alzheimer’s and dementia (things like diet, nutrition, anti-dementia drugs, exercise, and so on) and concluded that BRAIN TRAINING had the best evidence backing it.
